~ im hatching from the inside out and this is what it feels like — my womb. my belly. is a golden globe. shimmering like the sun beneath the sea, glowing with iridescence. not born yet, contained in me is all of creation just before i split open… where everything ever existed… I have been living inside that shell.my heart is moist, glistening like skin kissed by saltwater and paradise. pulsing as if just emerged from the sea. they are tethered by a thick, pearly pink chain, iridescent and strong, shimmering with every breath. above stretches a blue sky scattered with plush clouds, tinged in sunset blush, full and heavy with feels … 

The forms began as sculptural vessels and extended into handheld sensory objects designed to be experienced and moved across the body, face and perhaps other tender spots, like water. Their weighted, textured quality intends to engage in beauty, grounding pressures, sensual touches, tension releases ݁˖⁠♡

⟡⟡ the shapes are influenced by natural forms such as the horn shark egg, with its corkscrew structure, as well as the symbolic idea of the ✦ ݁˖ Cosmic Egg ✦ ݁˖ the womb of all creation — i lived inside endless possibilities, transforming, protecting, refining, maturing. These pieces became companions & symbols throughout that process. 

The name holds both essences of Mermaid and Siren. Mermaids are born, sirens are made & shaped by the life they met ⟡⟡
